The magic of song at your personal or professional event

American soprano currently based in Bordeaux, Rebecca Sorensen is recognized for her warm vocal tone and dynamic stage presence. With a versatile career as both a soloist and ensemble artist, she excels in a wide range of repertoire—from Baroque to contemporary music, including folk, opera, recital, and chamber music. A graduate of conservatories in the United States, she studied under renowned singers such as Jane Bunnell and Susanne Mentzer, and has performed on international stages in the U.S., Germany, and France.

Recently, she received acclaim at the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux for her performances as Elena in Il Cappello di Paglia di Firenze by Nino Rota, Violetta in La Traviata, Leïla in Les Pêcheurs de Perles, and Musetta in family concert versions of La Bohème.

In addition to her opera career, Sorensen is also a textile artist currently hosting her first solo exhibition. She is the creative force behind the project Folklyrique, where she explores and fuses classical and folk/traditional music while accompanying herself on folk instruments.
